Fighting Truthiness and also Hype in Advertising and marketing

In 2005, Stephen Colbert, in his TELEVISION program, the Colbert Record, coined the word, “truthiness.” Truthiness is the idea or assertion that a certain declaration holds true based upon the intuition or perceptions of some specific or individuals, without respect to evidence, reasoning, intellectual examination, or truths. Truthiness can range from oblivious assertions of frauds to calculated duplicity or publicity meant to sway point of views.
